Director, Commodities. (full-time)

€120,000 - €150,000 per annum base plus bonus plus package
We are looking for a Director with extensive experience in the commodities market for a position based in Germany.
You will use your background in both delivery and sales to support a client portfolio of c.€5m in annual revenue. You will be a trusted advisor to the client and will have the background and experience to create a vision and strategy that will inspire both clients and project teams.
You must have extensive experience and expertise in selling and delivering consulting services to both energy companies and commodities businesses. In addition you will be able to provide thought leadership around strategy, trends and best practice. You will naturally assume responsibility for the day to day running of the business ensuring revenue and profit targets are met and that people in the practice and cached and developed.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
· Fluent German and English
· Deep consulting expertise gained over many years working for a leading consultancy with experience of client management and managing revenue/profit target
· Extensive Energy Trading knowledge and experience including commodities: oil, gas, power and coal
· Solid understanding of financial and physical trading
· Solid understanding across front/mid/back office functions including risk
· Team management of around 20-30 people
· Experience in developing and managing at least €3M+ revenue
· Genuine and strong ability to sell consulting services and to gain entry to new markets or clients
· Solid background in delivering projects in the energy sector
· A sound understanding of technology and trends in the industry
· Willingness to travel
