Senior Test Consultants - focus on test strategy and planning - UK wide - must be eligible to work in the UK with UK experience
Our client is a leading global consulting firm.
They are maintaining their place at the leading edge by continually looking for innovative new ways to deliver testing services. They already deliver managed testing services to major clients in banking, insurance and financial markets and are responsible for defining and implementing test strategies for some of the biggest and most complex integration programmes in the UK.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll create testing strategies for complex integration programmes. You’ll identify and implement effective delivery teams and you’ll lead testing delivery. At the same time, you’ll oversee the quality of our biggest programmes and services, liaise with clients and provide expert consulting services such as test capability assessment and project reviews. Bids and proposals for new business will also fall into your remit.
Required:
It goes without saying that you’ll need to be an expert in testing. But just as importantly, you must have a flair for negotiation and the confidence to communicate persuasively with senior stakeholders. You will have:
Considerable test strategy and planning experience
Considerable background in test delivery
Strong team working skills.
Consulting background/ability
You should be able to demonstrate ambition, independence and innovation along with demonstrable experience of:

Expert knowledge of formal testing processes and ability to rapidly diagnose failing elements of the lifecycle and areas for improvement
Thorough understanding of complex IT programmes and projects

Thorough understanding of complex IT programmes and projects
Detailed and comprehensive understanding and experience of Quality Management and Testing lifecycles.
